Winter Reading Program
There's "snow" better time to read than Winter 2021. Join the Farmville Public Library Winter Reading Challenge and earn a "party in a box" prize pack (available to pick up March 26). You set your own goal. We recommend that children read or listen to books for at least 15 minutes a day (or at least one picture book) . But the goal is up to you. You decide how much to read and how to log your points. You can log by book, by pages, or by time. Any format of reading counts including being read to, reading aloud, reading silently, listening to an audiobook or reading an ebook.
You'll earn surprise badges along the way (13 in all) so keep reading to earn them all. Pick-up your Party in a Box beginning March 26 (just in time for Spring Break). The Library will be closed Friday, April 2 in observance of the Easter holiday.
You can download ebooks and audiobooks to your device for free with the Libby app and your Farmville Public Library card on Pitt County Schools student or staff ID. To download Libby, click here or look for Libby in your app store. If you need a Farmville Public Library card, sign up online here or visit the Library.
